Terms & Conditions of Sale
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By purchasing products from Fit My Floor Ltd, you agree to be bound by the following terms.


1. Payments

  • Full payment for all goods is required at the time of placing an order.

  • Fitting costs are paid directly to the independent installer once the work has been completed.

  • Deposit payments may be offered at the Manager’s discretion only.


2. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 7 days of the purchase date.

  • A 25% re-stocking fee will apply, based on the full retail price of the goods ordered.

  • After 7 days, cancellations are not permitted.


3. Returns & Exchanges

  • Goods cannot be refunded if incorrect measurements were supplied by the customer.

  • Stock items may be accepted for return or exchange at the Manager’s discretion.

  • We will accept returns for a maximum of 2 full, unopened packs of stock flooring.

  • Special order / non-stock items are non-returnable and non-refundable.


4. Faulty Goods

  • If a product is believed to be faulty, it will be inspected by the manufacturer.

  • If the manufacturer confirms a fault, a full refund or replacement will be offered within 28 days of purchase.

  • This does not affect your statutory rights.


5. Independent Installers

  • Fit My Floor Ltd supplies flooring products and acts as an agent for independent, self-employed flooring installers.

  • We accept full responsibility for the products and service we provide, but the installer holds full responsibility for the quality of the fitting.

  • Any fitting queries should be directed to the installer.


6. Subfloor Conditions

  • If existing floor coverings are present at the time of measuring, the customer remains responsible for ensuring the subfloor is level, sound, and suitable for installation.

  • If the subfloor is deemed unsuitable on the day of fitting, the installation may be postponed.

  • We can carry out subfloor preparation at an additional cost, depending on the work required.


7. Uplift & Disposal of Existing Flooring

Customers must ensure all rooms are clear of furniture and old flooring is removed unless previously arranged.

If uplift is required on the day, charges are as follows:

  • Uplift only: £3 per m²

  • Uplift and disposal: £5 per m²

These charges must be paid directly to the installer.


8. Electrical & White Goods

  • Installers will not disconnect or move electrical appliances or white goods.

  • These must be disconnected and moved by the customer before fitting begins.


9. Lead Times & Availability

  • Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on supplier stock levels.

  • We will notify customers of any delays as soon as reasonably possible.


10. Agreement

By placing an order with Fit My Floor Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
